This
is very much a personal guide for anyone thinking about modeling. It can
be quite nerve racking, working with a professional photographer. My job
is to put you at ease and to create the very best images of you that I
can. To achieve this involves team work and good communication.
I recommend an initial meeting to discuss the look/style you are going
for. A shoot always works best when both the photographer and the model
have a concept of what the pictures should look like, and are working
together to create that share concept.
I will send you a CD of photos taken and will print out copies of the
ones you like the best. Generally I will pick 15 images to post under
my models galleries. For anyone considering having fetish photos taken
you will find a check list that I would need you to complete.
What do I look for in models?
• Character some one with a special sense of who they are.
• A good sense of fun. You will have personality, creative intelligence,
and some one who is a team player.
• I look for someone with big eyes, and/or who knows how to use
them as I always focus on your eyes.
• All models must be able to prove they are over 18 years of age.
How do I find models for my photographic shoots?
• As a regular and well-known fetish scene photographer, I often
meet models at clubs.
• I get a number of approaches via my web site.
• Personal and professional recommendations.
• Through commissioned shoots for magazines and web sites, as I
regularly get to work directly with the same models.
• On occasion I may approach a prospective model in public if I
think she has that certain something. How
to research and make contact with, myself or other photographers.
• Please look at the photographer's work first, so you get an idea
what they do to see if you like their style of photography.
• If you like their style, and you would like to work for them,
email them in the first instance. It is always a good idea to send them
three recent photographs of yourself - a head and shoulders shot, a three-quarter
length, and a full length. We are not looking for professional style pictures,
but would just like to see what you look like. The preferred format would
be JPEG with a resolution of 72dpi and a pixel dimension of 600 x 400.
• Some information about yourself, e.g. your height; the colour
of your hair; eye colour; your style; dress size; shoe size; any tattoos
or body piercing; the type of modeling work you are interested in ( e.g.
fashion, topless, nude); any work you have done before; any props, shoes,
or clothes you have of particular interest; your availability, and a little
about yourself. This information can help us to ascertain which jobs would
suit you best as a model, and create a profile for you should we ever
be able to recommend you to another photographer, or for a specific commission.
• Find out where the photographer is based, and also let the photographer
know your area. You do not have to provide your address, just your basic
location. It is frustrating to both photographer and model to discover,
after email correspondence, that one is in the UK and the other the USA.
What
the models say:
Is is models
I have worked with. There words not mine!
Model Dynamo 18-1-09 Had
a great location shoot with Brian today, he was very professional and also
very fun to work with and gave excellent direction. Would recommend and
work with again.
Model
Adara Thorn 5-1-09 Brian
was brilliant to work with! He made me feel completely at ease but was
highly professional, and gave me some very good advice and tips to help
me with my modelling. He didn't try to make me do anything I wasn't happy
with and showed the utmost concern and respect for me and my wishes. Would
happily work with him again, and am planning to in the near futur.
